How would you illustrate change as an object?

This was the first assignment given to the teams of students in the course Organizing and Leading Change at JIBS. After reading a number of articles, the students got to illustrate what they had read by creating an object and on Monday 2 November their pieces was presented at an Art Exhibition.

The main idea of this assignment was to connect the abstract with the concrete, to promote team work, to have fun and to approach change from a new angle. Our students showed great creativity and innovative capability in terms of the objects presented at the exhibition. In addition, they added value by presenting their objects to the people watching. At the exhibition, they also got to evaluate each otherâ€™s objects from a change perspective and vote for Best in Show.

The presentations together with the objects gave new ideas and interpretations of what it means to change an organization.
